Anna-Maria was born in Corfu and currently resides in Athens. She studied drawing and painting at the Faculty of Arts and Crafts in Corfu, as well as Graphic Design and Industrial Design at Vakalo College. In 2000, she graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Management and later completed her MBA in 2002.
During her university years, Anna-Maria served as an Editor for the magazine ENA and later took on the role of Beauty Editor for several weekly publications, including EINAI, VÔTRE BEAUTE, EGO, and STATUS. Her passion for beauty, wellness, and anti-aging evolved into a lifestyle. At the height of health magazines' popularity in Greece, she was the Wellness Editor for the women’s health journal PREVENTION, as well as for MEN'S HEALTH and WOMEN'S HEALTH.
Anna-Maria is the author of several wellness books. In 2012, she published her first book, “The Youth Revolution,” through Minoas Publications, which presents a holistic approach to maintaining youth. In 2016, she released “The Greek Diet Cure” with Oxy Publications. This detailed study is based on significant research regarding the Greek Mediterranean Diet, aiming to enhance quality of life and manage weight. The English version of “The Greek Diet Cure” is scheduled for release this year. In 2025, she published a new book focused on menopause called “Everything you were not told about Menopause”.
She was honored with the annual “Apollonian Awards” for her significant contributions to wellness and anti-aging at the Fitness Meeting in 2013. She also served as Garnier's ambassador in Greece during 2014 and 2015. In 2019, she represented Nivea in Greece and in 2020, she became the representative for the NUXE anti-aging series. She frequently participates as a speaker at conferences and symposia focused on anti-aging, beauty, and quality of life.
Anna-Maria conceived the idea for and organizes the symposium “Youth in the Middle Ages,” which has been successfully held in Athens for many consequtive years, organized by the non-profit organization “I Love My Life,” of which she is the Founder and CEO.
She closely work with UpMyBusiness team and organizes, plans and executes promotional events for medical aesthetics professionals to showcase their expertise and top treatments. She also coordinates seminars, workshops, or press conferences to highlight innovations, successes, and client testimonials, fostering engagement with media and potential clients. Her goal is to elevate the visibility and reputation of practitioners, celebrating their expertise and commitment to excellence in the industry.
